Norwegian company Fynd Reality will deliver its world-leading multiplayer platform Fynd CORE to Ukraine as part of the Nansen Program. The goal is to strengthen training, safety, and preparedness in a country marked by war and significant reconstruction needs.

The allocation of NOK 82.5 million from the Norwegian Ministry of Defense is a direct response to a request from Ukraine, based on the positive experiences Ukrainians have already had with Fynd Reality’s deliveries in collaboration with the Norwegian Defense University College.
Through this allocation, Fynd Reality will establish partnerships with Ukrainian companies, enabling them to use Fynd CORE to produce training content for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In this way, the platform will both strengthen today’s defense capabilities and help build lasting competence in the country. Additionally, training developed in Ukraine will also be made available for use by the Norwegian Armed Forces in the same solution.
Fynd CORE is a world-leading platform that enables the creation, customization, and execution of realistic training scenarios in XR (extended reality). The solution allows users to practice everything from vehicle procedures to field decision-making – without putting people or equipment at risk. The platform is a dual-use technology, applied in both defense and civilian sectors such as industry, education, and public safety.
“We are proud to contribute with Norwegian technology at a time when the need for effective and safe training is critical. Fynd CORE makes it possible to prepare personnel for demanding situations through realistic simulations, regardless of where they are. We would like to extend a special thanks to the Ministry of Defense for this assignment – this trust means a lot to us at Fynd, both as a company and as people who want to make a difference,” says Knut Henrik Aas, CEO of Fynd Reality.
State Secretary Andreas Flåm visiting Fynd Reality and CEO Knut Henrik Aas at the FSi-exhibiton at Akershus Fortress yesterday.
State Secretary Andreas Flåm from the Ministry of Defense emphasized to Forsvarets Forum why Ukraine is requesting these types of solutions:
“We receive requests from Ukraine for this kind of product because technology on the battlefield is evolving so rapidly. Technology is absolutely crucial to gaining an advantage in the war, and that makes companies like Fynd Reality extremely important from the Ukrainian side. They are asking for help to connect with new technology,” said Flåm.
By combining high realism with the ability to measure performance and progression, the solution – in collaboration with Ukrainian companies – will contribute to both short-term readiness and long-term competence building in Ukraine.
