Fynd Reality Participates in Exercise HEIMDALL 2026

Fynd Reality participated in Exercise HEIMDALL 2026, hosted by the NATO Centre of Excellence Cold Weather Operations (COE-CWO) in Northern Norway above the artic circle. From NATO’s perspective, HEIMDALL serves as a key arena for experimentation and innovation in extreme Arctic conditions, testing how new technologies can strengthen readiness, resilience, and interoperability across allied forces.

Operating in cold-weather environments places exceptional demands on systems and personnel. Robustness, secure data handling, and the ability to operate seamlessly across domains are essential. HEIMDALL provides a realistic framework to validate emerging capabilities under operationally relevant conditions.

Visualizing complex multidomain operations

During HEIMDALL, Fynd Reality showcased how Fynd CORE enables Armed Forces to interact within a Virtual Joint Operations Centre (VJOC) or Virtual Tactical Operations Centre (VTOC). The platform demonstrated how distributed command structures can support commanders, decision-makers, and staff members from multiple locations while maintaining shared situational awareness.

A key part of the demonstration involved receiving and visualizing tracking data from ongoing experiments. By integrating data streams from the IBM TAK server, static and moving objects were displayed in real time on 3D maps inside the Virtual Operations Centre. This allowed participants to monitor activities across domains and better understand the operational picture.

Fynd CORE illustrated how complex, multidomain operations — across land, sea, air, subsea, cyber, and space can be visualized in a human-centric 3D environment. Instead of overwhelming users with large volumes of 2D data, the platform simplifies information presentation, making it easier for decision-makers to focus on what truly matters.

Participation in HEIMDALL builds on Fynd Reality’s ongoing collaboration with NATO innovation initiatives and the Norwegian Armed Forces, reinforcing our commitment to delivering secure, distributed, and intuitive XR solutions for modern operations.
