How do you combine decades of aviation experience with new technology to create better and more documented training?

That question sits at the heart of the partnership between Fynd Reality and ASK Aviation Tech Team (AATT), a Norwegian company delivering training, maintenance and digital services to military and civilian aviation customers across Europe.

Combining aviation expertise with digital learning

AATT operates across three closely connected areas: training, maintenance and digital services. This gives the company a practical understanding of what learners, technicians, instructors and organisations need to be able to do in real operational environments. 

AATT’s training model starts with task-to-training logic. The starting point is not a course format or a technology solution, but the question: what must the learner, team or organisation be able to do in practice? From there, real operational tasks are translated into learning objectives, modules, scenarios, training activities and assessment methods.

Through AATT, this approach is supported by digital learning environments, Learning Management Systems, exam platforms, 3D animations, SCORM-compatible courseware, video and other forms of digital educational content. These capabilities allow AATT to connect theory, practice, assessment and documentation in a more complete learning ecosystem.

Bringing Fynd CORE into the learning journey 

As a Fynd Reality partner, AATT can use Fynd CORE as part of a blended learning journey, alongside instructor-led training, digital modules, practical exercises, workplace-near training and structured assessment. 

By introducing immersive, scenario-based training at the right point in the learning process, AATT can give participants opportunities to experience and practise situations in a controlled virtual environment.

Learners can interact with procedures, systems and scenarios, repeat training, build familiarity and prepare more effectively before applying their knowledge in a physical environment. This is particularly relevant within aviation and defence, where access to equipment can be limited and training must balance quality, safety, availability and cost.

From platform user to content creator

An important part of the partnership is that AATT is not limited to consuming training content created by Fynd Reality. With the Fynd CORE SDK, partners can work more directly with the technology behind the platform and develop integrations, functionality and experiences around their own areas of expertise.

For AATT, this creates the opportunity to combine deep aviation knowledge with greater control over how digital and immersive training solutions are designed, developed and delivered.

This is central to how we see the Fynd CORE partner ecosystem evolving. The people who understand the aircraft, systems, procedures and learners should be able to play an active role in creating the training.

Creating scalable training capability 

The partnership also reflects a broader change in how immersive training should be used. The goal is not to create a separate VR application for every individual training requirement. Fynd CORE provides a common platform that partners can use to build, adapt and deliver training for their own customers and specialist areas.

This gives organisations the opportunity to retain their subject matter expertise while using immersive technology to make that knowledge more accessible, repeatable and scalable. 

For customers, the value is not only a more engaging training experience. It is a more controlled competence process, where learning can be planned, delivered, assessed, documented and continuously improved.
