At Fynd Reality, we believe strong partnerships are essential to building meaningful and scalable training capabilities. That is why we are exited to welcome Ukrainian XR company SensoramaLab as a partner in expanding immersive training solutions for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Through this collaboration, Sensorama will develop realistic training scenarios for the Leopard 1A5 tank and M113 armored vehicle using the Fynd CORE platform. Together, we are combining Fynd Reality’s training technology with Sensorama’s deep expertise in XR content development and the operational insights of Ukrainian partners.

This partnership builds on Fynd Reality’s existing work in Ukraine, where our Leopard 2 XR training is already in operational use at the Military Institute for Tank Troops at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”). Together with secure XR hardware from Varjo, the collaboration creates a powerful ecosystem for realistic, scalable, and distributed training.

Building Capability When Access to Equipment Is Limited

In Ukraine, operational vehicles are often fully engaged at the front, limiting access to equipment for training purposes. This creates a significant challenge when soldiers need to familiarize themselves with procedures, maintenance, and vehicle systems before deployment.

Through immersive XR training, personnel can safely and efficiently train without requiring physical access to the vehicles. By scanning real equipment in Ukraine and creating highly accurate virtual replicas, training scenarios reflect real operational conditions and allow soldiers to prepare before entering the field.

As part of this effort, Sensorama will help rapidly develop new immersive scenarios that can support both immediate training needs and long-term competence building.

“We are delighted to welcome Sensorama onboard,” said Knut Henrik Aas, CEO of Fynd Reality.

“Partnering with a strong Ukrainian technology company allows us to build training content faster and closer to operational needs. By combining Sensorama’s expertise in immersive content with the Fynd CORE platform, we can continue strengthening how Ukrainian soldiers train, even when access to physical vehicles is limited.”

 A Strong Norwegian–Ukrainian Collaboration

The collaboration represents an important example of Norwegian–Ukrainian cooperation in defense technology, supported financially through theNorwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA).

For Fynd Reality, the partnership is also about local ownership and long-term capability building. By working closely with Ukrainian companies, training content can increasingly be developed and adapted locally to meet evolving operational requirements.

“Sensorama brings valuable experience and expertise to this collaboration,” said Aas. “We are excited about what we can build together.”

The training scenarios will be delivered through Fynd CORE, supporting multi-user, scenario-based training where soldiers can practice familiarization, maintenance, procedures, and coordination, regardless of physical access to the vehicles.

As training demands continue to evolve, partnerships like this help ensure that learning remains accessible, scalable, and operationally relevant.
